About SGTB Khalsa
A part of Delhi University is Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College (SGTB). It is ranked 30th by the NIRF ranking and has received an "A" rating from the NAAC. It ranks the oldest Commerce, Arts, and Science colleges in Delhi. DSGMC (Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee) was established and now oversees SGTB Khalsa. The college provides undergraduate, graduate, diploma, and certificate programmes in the humanities, sciences, languages, and business departments.
SGTB Khalsa placement cell IGNITE does mock interviews and holds discussions in groups to get students ready for internship and employment prospects. Additionally, the placement unit arranges recruitment drives and invites prestigious organisations, namely, Bain and Company, TCS, Wirpo, TresVista, KPMG Global Services, etc. The average compensation package provided during the placement drive is Rs 5.38 LPA, while the maximum salary package is Rs 15 LPA.
The SGTB Khalsa scholarship programme is available for students who excel academically but need financial support. Each year, 200 students are chosen to receive the merit-based means-based scholarships. Among the scholarships provided by the college are the Sultan Chand Memorial Scholarship, which provides a student with a sum of Rs 5000, the S. Gian Sing Memorial Scholarship, which provides a student with an additional Rs 5000, the Sdn. Kauran Roop Rai Memorial Scholarship, which provides a student with an additional Rs 6000, and others.

SGTB Khalsa Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
- Mata Guruji Library, located at the college, includes more than 1,34,000 volumes and 15,000 priceless manuscripts. There are 12 journals, 46 magazines, and 27 newspapers that the library is subscribed to. This is the only institution at Delhi University that has a lift and is completely computerised. The library also features a Braille section.
- Sporting prowess is a hallmark of the college. The SGTB Khalsa College competes in several international events and has won numerous titles. The college features a sizable playground for sports including basketball, tennis, volleyball, Kho-Kho, football, cricket, and others. Additionally, it provides amenities for indoor activities including table tennis, carrom, chess, and a small gym.
- Laboratories: Fot the benefit of the students, the institution has large laboratories with state-of-the-art machinery for the Science stream. There are 24 laboratories at the institution, with five in each of the departments of physics, botany, and zoology, four in computer science, three in chemistry, and two in the electronics department.
- Females Hostel: The college also has accommodations for girls hostel. For the distant female students, there is a dormitory facility. The hostel is situated on the college grounds and is well equipped with all the modern and fundamental amenities. The 49 rooms at the ladies' hostel can house 147 students.
